Leadership and Council
Council with representatives from the Commissions plus the Building Committee:
Along with the Pastor, the elders oversee the spiritual work of the congregation, setting goals and planning in areas of church growth, leadership training, and stewardship. Elders assist with Holy Communion, confirmation curriculum, congregational meetings, and Pastor or staff issues as needed.
This group coordinates adult activities and various events and functions held for church and community members, and assists with the care of our church family as needed.
Mission and Outreach
The Missions and Outreach group spreads the gospel in our community and overseas by supporting efforts to draw all people into God’s family. This group coordinates personal, church, and world missions and informs the congregation of mission work on the conference and denominational levels.
Working with the Pastor's Sunday morning themes, this group seeks to bring music, scripture and drama together to complement the central idea in a contemporary way. Special musical and dramatic events, as well as creating a beautiful atmosphere in the sanctuary are part of this ministry.
This group coordinates and facilitates the Sunday School program for children, youth and adults.
Youth are encouraged to attend Covenant Park Bible Camp for a summer camping experience of spiritual growth and fellowship.
Coordinating the maintenance of church property and the parsonage is this group’s responsibility.
