WORSHIP |
|||
| Worship Team | |||
| The
worship team member uses his or her gift of music, drama or technical expertise
to enable the Church to focus attention on God. Worship plays an important
role in preparing hearts to hear God's message and to bring Him praise.

| Readings | |||
| The
reading of scripture in a dramatic way, using various translations, especially
The Message, The Living Bible, etc.
|
|||
| GROW |
|||
| Adult Bible Study | |||
Adults gather on Sunday mornings and meet at the church for other Bible Studies week days or evenings. Bible studies can be on particular themes using study guides or may concentrate on a particular book of the Bible.
|
|||
| Sunday School | |||
Sunday School is offered to children age 3 through grade 6, and youth in 7th through 12th grades. The children have Bible stories, crafts, memory work and games. The older youth gather with the youth director to learn what the Bible has to say about life and how God can help them cope with life's challenges.

| Confirmation | |||
Confirmation is a time of study and growth for those in the middle school years of life. At Pine Valley Covenant it is an opportunity for the Pastor to spend time with our pre-teens, equipping them with the foundational truths of the Bible, while at the same time allowing them to see the Pastor as a very normal and approachable person.

| Youth Group | |||
Teens gather on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to explore different topics relevant to faith and contemporary culture, looking to the Bible for answers. Weeknight Youth Group add games and food to the teachings.
|
|||
| Adult Gatherings | |||
The adults of Pine Valley Covenant are encouraged to gather together. People sign up for a date with an idea for an activity and get together for fun and fellowship.

SERVE |
|||
| Teaching and Leading | |||
Congregation members volunteer to lead and teach all ages—Sunday School classes, Youth Groups and various Bible studies and enrichment studies.
|

| Hospitality | |||
| Adult
activities and various events and functions are held for church and community
members, and assistance is given for the care of our church family as needed.
|
|||
| Missions & Outreach | |||
Our congregation supports efforts to draw all people into God’s family. Projects include Cook’s Night Out, preparing meals for families in times of illness or difficulties, supporting the local Covenant Bible Camp and encouraging support of missionaries on the conference and denominational levels.
|
|||
| Elders | |||
Along with the Pastor, the elders oversee the spiritual work of the congregation, setting goals and planning in areas of church growth.
|
|||
| Prison Ministry | |||
Thursday evening Bible Study is held at Moose Lake Correctional Center. Singing, prayer and bible study contribute to helping people renew their lives.
|
|||
| Divorce Care | |||
Divorce Care is a twelve-week video and discussion class offered to those people who have been affected by divorce. The purpose is to use a Christ-centered perspective to help understand and process the pain of divorce, and find wholeness for the future.
|
|||
| Cooks Night Out | |||
Every Wednesday evening during the summer, the community is invited to share in a meal of grilled hamburgers and hotdogs that we joyfully serve picnic-style.
